Upon arriving, they encountered a man wielding a knife and acting erratically. The officers, equipped with body cameras, approached the man and repeatedly asked him to put down the knife. Despite their commands, the man refused to comply and instead charged towards the officers. One of the officers, fearing for his life, fired his weapon multiple times in self-defense.
